Tokyo Japan Introduced a New Electric Magnetic Motorcycle

Tokyo based Axle Corporation has introduced a new electric motorbike with a hybrid plug-in, electromagnetic-permanent magnet motor, and is seven times more cost-efficient than scooters running on petrol. A “magnetic motorcycle” is an electric motorcycle. In this case permanent magnets are used in the motor (rather than the usual electro-magnets) in the, field coils, saving somewhat on the amount of electricity to drive the thing. Note that the requirement for a battery is not done away with, but the demands on the installed battery are smaller.

Japan rules the roost when it comes to the future of motorcycles and it seems that one particular manufacturer was hit by the idea of a lifetime. A new, electric motorbike prototype from Genesis was unveiled featuring a hybrid magnetic motor. Apparently, the unit can power the motorcycle almost noiselessly up to speeds of 112 mph.

  1. I’m paying attantion for over 7 years to see mass manufacturing status of this electric motorbike, and I wonder about available reasons of long delay, and well limited news.
